AirtelTigo Money

AT held 6.77% of Ghanaian mobile voice subscriptions, NCA June 2026. Voice subscriptions, not mobile money accounts.

What is settled about this rail

The third wallet is accepted everywhere the other two are and is the smallest by subscriber share by a wide margin. That would be unremarkable except that it is also the one rail with a documented disadvantage attached, and it is the only per-rail disadvantage anybody in this market publishes.

One bookmaker sets a deposit ceiling on this wallet well below the ceiling it sets on the other two. It is a deposit limit rather than a withdrawal one, which makes it less severe than it first reads, and it is still the clearest case in the market of a rail being treated as second class in writing.

The same operator’s cashier has at times shown this wallet as unavailable while the other two were live. Whether that is temporary is not established, so a page describing it as an option at that book without checking would be describing something a reader cannot use.

What nobody publishes. The telecommunications company has retired the AirtelTigo brand in favour of a shorter one, but no bookmaker uses the new label, so this site names the wallet the way it appears at checkout.

Every blank in the panel above is a decision. Figures for those fields circulate widely, the ones found contradicted each other or turned out to describe a neighbouring market, and none was filled in from an aggregator. Where a bookmaker states its own figure it sits on that bookmaker’s page.

Who names it and who does not

Named in the cashier of Bangbet, BetFox, betPawa, Betway, MSport, Premier Bet, Soccabet and SportyBet.

Publishes a cashier without it: Wiwi Casino. That is an absence from a list that could be read, which is different from the four books that publish no readable cashier at all: 1xBet, 22Bet, Betwinner and Melbet.

About AirtelTigo Money

Which Ghanaian bookmakers take AirtelTigo Money?
eight books name it in their own cashier: Bangbet, BetFox, betPawa, Betway, MSport, Premier Bet, Soccabet and SportyBet. four books publish no cashier a reader outside Ghana can open, so their rails are unrecorded rather than absent.
Is there a limit on what I can receive through AirtelTigo Money?
Yes, and it is not set by the bookmaker. Under the Bank of Ghana tiers a minimum-verification wallet takes at most GH₵3,000 a day and GH₵10,000 a month, whichever book is paying. The tiers are set out in full here.
