Grouped by a stated rule, never by a decimal place.

Four tiers, one rule, thirteen bookmakers

This is not a list of the best betting sites in Ghana. It is a list of what each licensed book will tell you before you give it money. We put the same 18 questions to every bookmaker on the Gaming Commission of Ghana register, count the ones it leaves unanswered, and put it in a band. Nothing else moves a book between bands.

Across the thirteen books on the register we put 18 questions to each. 218 of them applied. 71 got no answer.

I Tier

Answers everything, or all but one

Leaves at most one of the eighteen questions unanswered.

You can check what you are signing up to before you put money in. It is not a statement that the terms are good, and on one of these books they are not.

What sits in this band and why

The questions this market will not answer

Some silences are one bookmaker being careless. These are the ones where most of the market is quiet at once, which is a fact about Ghana rather than about any single brand.

Worst of them: 10 of the thirteen books say nothing about lobby counted.

The same thirteen books, sorted for one thing at a time

Before you use any of this

Does a higher tier mean a better bookmaker?
No, and this is the one thing worth getting straight. A tier says how much of itself a book publishes before you have risked anything. One of the books in the top band writes some of the harshest terms in this market, and it is there because it publishes them where you can read them. The bands are defined here.
Why is there no list from first to last?
Because the numbers do not support one. Run a weighted score over these thirteen books and seven books land inside a single step of each other, with a middle gap of 0.3 between neighbours. The working is set out here.
Who is on this list and who is left off?
Every registered book, sorted into four tiers by a stated rule rather than by a decimal place. One brand is not here at all: it stopped taking Ghanaian players and came off the register, and it has a page of its own rather than a silence.
Is any of this timed by you?
No. No payout on this site was timed by anyone here. Where a book has a payout figure it is a figure that book or a third party published, and where it has wording instead we quote the wording. A desk that has not held a stopwatch does not get to say it has.
